1. About This Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how JHMobileApps handles information when you use SalahMate (رفيق الصلاة والقرآن) on Android. SalahMate provides prayer times, Quran content, Adhkar, Duas, Hadith, a Hijri calendar, Qibla direction, prayer notifications, widgets, accounts, cloud synchronization, advertising, and premium features.
2. Location
You may continue using SalahMate without granting location permission, but location-based features such as automatic prayer times and Qibla direction may not function correctly.
3. Information We Collect
When you create an account or use cloud synchronization, SalahMate collects and stores the information needed to provide those services through Supabase.
Account information
Email address, display name if provided, account identifier, preferred language, and basic profile information.
Settings and preferences
Prayer calculation preferences, madhab, theme, notification settings, language, and other settings selected for synchronization.
Progress and app data
Prayer progress, Quran reading progress, achievements, premium status, synchronized application preferences, and other app data required to provide cloud synchronization.
Purchase records
Product, purchase token, transaction identifier, verification status, and related records needed to verify a purchase and provide the purchased feature.
Authentication is provided by Supabase Authentication. Passwords are securely managed by Supabase and are never accessible to JHMobileApps. SalahMate does not use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or custom analytics software.
4. How We Use Information
- create, authenticate, and manage user accounts;
- synchronize settings, preferences, progress, achievements, premium status, and other app data;
- provide the features and preferences selected by the user;
- verify purchases and provide purchased features;
- protect accounts, prevent fraud, and maintain service security;
- respond to support, privacy, and deletion requests; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
JHMobileApps does not sell personal information.
5. Third-Party Services
Supabase
Supabase provides authentication and cloud data storage for SalahMate. It processes account and synchronized app data on behalf of JHMobileApps. You can read the Supabase Privacy Policy.
Google AdMob
SalahMate uses Google AdMob to provide advertising, including rewarded ads. Depending on your device settings, consent choices, region, and Google's configuration, Google may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device information, ad interactions, and diagnostic information for ad delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention. JHMobileApps does not send the location used for prayer-time or Qibla calculations to AdMob. You can read the Google Privacy Policy.
Google Play and Google Play Services
Google Play Billing processes purchases. Google handles payment-card information, and JHMobileApps does not receive your full card details. SalahMate receives purchase and transaction information needed to verify a purchase and provide the relevant premium feature. Google Play Services may also process technical information needed to provide its services, security, and diagnostics.
6. Android Permissions

SalahMate requests permission in context when it is needed. You can change permissions at any time in Android settings.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Account information and synchronized app data are generally kept while your account remains active. Purchase, transaction, security, or legal records may be kept for longer where reasonably necessary to verify entitlements, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations.
Location used for prayer-time and Qibla calculations is not retained by JHMobileApps.
To ask about information associated with your account or request deletion where applicable, contact jhmobileapps.dev@gmail.com. JHMobileApps may retain limited information where necessary for security, fraud prevention, purchase verification, or legal compliance.
8. Security
JHMobileApps uses reasonable safeguards designed to protect account information and synchronized app data. Supabase communications use secure encrypted connections, authentication, access controls, and database rules that restrict access to authorized records.
We use secure connections where supported by the services we rely on. Some Quran audio content is provided by third-party sources that may not support encrypted connections.
No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
9. Children's Privacy
SalahMate is family-friendly and does not knowingly seek unnecessary personal information from children. Parents and guardians should supervise children's use, review app permissions and advertising choices, and contact JHMobileApps if they believe a child's information should be deleted.
10. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information linked to your account, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You may also disable optional permissions in Android settings.

11. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when SalahMate's features, service providers, or legal obligations change. The latest version will show the updated date and will be made available through the app or its Google Play listing.
